E-waste Assigment

From 1997 to 2007 there was over 500 million computers no longer in use being burned and polluting the earth. To recycle computers in the us is will cost on average 30 dollars but when you ship to developing countries like china, India and Pakistan it only cost about 2 dollars a computer.

Computers contain many toxic materials like mercury, beryllium, lead and etc. Then they have kids burning them in third world countries inhaling the deadly fumes. Also the lakes and rivers are being polluted with chemicals leaking into it. Some solutions have already taken effect such as controlled recycling plants that separate and recycle computer without all the pollutants but it’s a little bit more costly.

My opinion on this hole E waste is that it is a hole pile of cow turd and they should just go the more costly way and save the enviroment and lives.
